Shock in the Shower!

Available since 2003 and selling for nearly $7.00 a piece, this soap which is loaded with caffeine promises a jolt while having your daily shower. One soap bar allegedly contains 12 servings of caffeine per shower with 200 milligrams of caffeine per shower. No, you're NOT to supposed to eat it! Just lather like ordinary soap, then rinse. Tell me if it works. The makers say that caffeine is adsorbed by the skin when you use it. I never thought we can get caffeine in our systems just by rubbing it in our skin. If true, don't rub too much near your heart. A hyperactive heartbeat is difficult to control. *LOL* Reuters reported about it today. [via ThinkGeek]

A wise critic here tested the soap and had eye-opening results.

What will they think of next? The drive to make money makes entrepreneurs really innovative. I won't be surprised if they come up with a nicotine patch (this one allows nicotine to be absorbed through the skin) to replace cigarettes when the latter's sale is subjected to prohibitive restrictions.
