Eating Emotionally

Emotional eaters -- people who eat when they are lonely or blue -- tend to lose the least amount of weight and have the hardest time keeping it off, U.S. researchers said on Thursday.

They said the study may explain why so many people who lose weight gain it all back.

Somehow, I suspect we all know this happens. The thing is, how can we not be emotional when it comes to food and eating? Eating has everything to do with sensation, and to eat without feeling is impossible, I think.

Do we eat as a consequence of our emotions or does food influence our emotions? It may be both for some people.
