How To Multiply

Remember the first time you learned multiplying numbers? I remember it was my Dad who first taught me everything about reading, writing, and computing arithmetic equations. It took quite a while before I got the hang of it, but I was more than ready to handle the questions thrown to me by my teachers when I went to school.

I came across this NEW way of multiplying recently, and while a bit innovative, I think I still prefer the older method.

Uy.. Nice site. This is more of a "visual representation" of math... A more graphical(?) representation of math. Gleng nito doc!!

very interesting for kids since it's designed to exercise both the left and right sides of the brain... it's just confusing when you already have 9x9 intersecting lines hehehe!

Thanks, Fionski. :)

Kamusta na Eye? Yes, mahirap nga kung numerous intersections na. That's why I prefer the old method. :)

OK sya for smaller numbers, but for bigger numbers it's quite confusing. Pa memorize ko na lang yung multiplication table kay Josh.

Thanks for this one doc.

I'm not a visual person ;)

I'm for the old method too. My daughters use something similar in their school too, but it seems to me like we learned our multiplication table sooner and faster than they're doing now.
