"Bullet" Headache

A Florida man awoke with a severe headache and asked his wife to drive him to a hospital, where doctors found a bullet lodged behind his right ear, sheriff's deputies said.

"The nurse looked at him and said, 'It appears that you've been shot,'" the Fort Pierce Tribune quoted St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara as saying. "And he said, 'No way.'"

Guess who shot him? His wife did.

Like a headless chicken, people can sometimes be totally clueless of what has really happened to them until they find out.

This reminds me of Reagan's assassination attempt. The doctors knew something was wrong with him as his BP continuously dropped for no apparent reason. It was when they discovered that he was shot that they knew what to do with him. Neither his bodyguards nor Reagan himself knew he was shot.

BING - not all wounds are fatal even if the head is involved. He is lucky, I guess. What I don't understand is why his wife shot him.

T.ROLLS - I did not know that trivia. Thanks for sharing!

His wife shot him? And he didn't know it?

I have found the answer.

'Headache' was a bullet
=======================

A US woman is facing charges after doctors treating her husband's 'headache' found a bullet in his head.

Michael Moylan was admitted to hospital in Florida complaining of severe head pain, reports the BBC.

His wife April fled when a bullet was discovered. She was subsequently arrested for illegal possession of a firearm.

Mrs Moylan later told police she had accidentally shot her husband as he slept with a gun kept under her pillow.

She fired the weapon by mistake after being woken up by a burglar alarm in the early hours.

Mr Moylan, meanwhile, remains in hospital in a stable condition.

He told doctors he was woken up with a headache so severe he thought he had suffered an aneurysm.

He also reportedly told doctors he thought his wife had elbowed him in the head during the night.

A local newspaper, The Fort Pierce Tribune, quoted the sheriff as saying: "The nurse looked at him and said: 'It appears that you've been shot.' And he said: 'No way.'"
