Nadal Ends Federer's Wimbledon Record

What a spectacular match!

After four match points, two game suspensions due to rains, and four hours and 48 minutes of playing amazing tennis, world #2 Rafael Nadal has finally found the key to defeat world #1 and "king-of-grass-tennis-courts" Roger Federer.

The score: 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 9-7

Nadal is now officially the first tennis player since Bjorn Borg in 1980 to win both the French Open and the Wimbledon in the same year.

And my favorite Federer? He's left with equaling Borg's five consecutive Wimbledon titles. Nothing more. For now. I know he's not used to being the runner-up and going around parading the runner-up's silver platter. What did he say about Nadal?
"The worst opponent on the best court. But I'll be back next year."
Sure, you will, Roger. Sure, you will. But that remains to be seen.....and proven. Meanwhile, I hope you shape up and improve your game, because I am sure Nadal will not give you the chance of winning easily the next time you meet again.

On both players' physical endurance - astounding! You will be surprised no one complained about cramps or plain exhaustion. More than 4 hours of playing tennis can drain even the fittest among us.
