I Have No Time

We are all victims and slaves of the rat race at one point in our lives --- or maybe if we're that unlucky --- most of the time. In this light, I would like to invite all of you to an informal survey regarding the things we have no time for: sleeping, eating a hearty breakfast, exercising, watching a movie, taking long vacations, etc. You get my drift....

Which among the things we neglect doing rank the highest?

Place your votes by clicking on this link:
I USUALLY HAVE NO TIME FOR.....

I will conduct this survey until this Saturday Sunday (September 9 10, 2006), and discuss the results with you on a post on Sunday Monday. It will be interesting to find out if we still stop to smell the roses.

More than one answer is permitted. You just have to reload the voting page every time you have more than one answer. Thanks, and see you on Sunday Monday!

In my previous professional life I got time for nothing. When I decided to quit the rat race I got all the time I ever wanted. In fact now I have the time to do all the things you mention in your survey. But there are a few things I don't do because I am too lazy or because I don't like doing it...
Sorry, but I am so afraid of doctors that I don't go often for medical check-ups.I know it is stupid but I guess I am afraid you guys might find something wrong about me.

Well I have a preconceived notion as to what the number 1 answer will be. But should be fun to discuss.

Hi Doc! These days, I have no time for exercise. Marami kasing ginagawa. I've enrolled in a gym since 2004 and now, nawawala yung motivation ko.

Motivation, huh? How's preventing long-term hospitalization as motivation? If ever you get to talk with any patient who has been hospitalized longer than a week because of diabetes or hypertension, ask them if they would have reformed earlier had they known that certain lifestyle adjustments could have changed the outcome of their health status. I'm pretty sure most of them will say 'yes.' That's the motivation I can share with you, JV.
